Ben Lilley

Ben is a creative advertising and marketing genius. He is a private investor with a with a focus on creativity and recently acquired McCann Australia from IPG in 2020.

Previously Chairman and CEO of McCann Australia after they bought SMART in 2011, he led McCann Australia over 7 years, through record growth and was named Agency of the Year at D&AD, London International, Spikes Asia, Campaign Asia, Campaign Brief, Mumbrella and AWARD. In 2013, McCann Australia made history as the world's most awarded agency for campaigns including the globally acclaimed "Dumb Ways to Die". They also set new creative records for the APAC region, which he oversaw from 2016 as Asia Pacific Creative Leadership Chair for Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Ben is a member of YPO (Young President’s Organisation), inspirational Australian charity Igniting Change and Richard Branson's foundation Virgin Unite. He also served on the board of the Advertising Federation of Australia and was featured in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, AdNews’ Top Forty Under Forty and CEO of the Year Awards.
